Bar-Lev, Maya. 2023. Mockingbird. Master's thesis, Harvard University Division of Continuing Education.Abstract
Mockingbird is a feature length screenplay that follows the story of a 38-year-old female protagonist in search of the truth surrounding an event in her childhood. The film explores themes of friendship, trauma, and memory, as it weaves between past and present to allow the protagonist to gradually uncover information. To facilitate this, the film will play with time and memory, using flashes and flashbacks to create a parallel timeline in which the protagonist exists in both her childhood and the present day.Terms of Use
